Thank you for the Treats!

I want to thank each of you Mothers who brought in the nutritious, yummy snacks for the students to consume after their swimming lessons.  I know the students really appreciated being able to satisfy their hunger after their lessons.

I also want to thank you for contributing the cookies and juice for the treat after the Radio Show.  The students did such a good job performing that night, and it was nice to honour them with the goodies.  Thank you so much!

Give it up for Hunger

Highroad is hosting a special fundraiser for those in the community who are in need called, “Give It Up For Hunger”. It will take place on Thursday, May the 10th. The Salvation Army will be selling hotdogs and other items to students for a minimum donation. Here is the breakdown of items available and the suggested donations:

$2 for a hot dog (2 available per student), $1 for chips, $1 for a drink.

The items will be served from the Salvation Army food truck and the Student Leadership team members will be preparing the food.  Money will be collected at the food truck. No money for this event should go through the office.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

Request of Mothers

Mothers, if you are available on Thursday morning, would you be willing to come by the YMCA at 9:50 to help the girls brush out their hair after swimming? The girls will need to put a bit more effort into styling their hair that day because of the Radio Show in the afternoon.  Thank you!
